US/CAN (NAR) cars have a rail position sensor in the seat so an airbag plug defeat is not enough to remove all errors. If you don't want to pull apart your original harness or buy a new harness you can purchase this on it's own. This is just the rail sensor only with wires that you can use to connect directly to the socket. It will require some DIY. It will go into either a black socket or a red one depending on the year car you have. If you trace the blue and brown wires in the harness from the sensor to the socket you should be able to work out the correct pins to connect the new sensor to. Picture below is for the black socket in early cars.
